DIRECTIONS TO AVONDALE HOUSE - BY CAR
For directions on how to get to the house: if you are coming across the Dartford crossing then you would follow signs to London, M2/A2. Carry on the motorway and follow A2 to Central London and Lewisham. Turn off at the junction for Lewisham , Bromley, still on the A2. You will come to two roundabouts, carry straight on over the roundabouts (keep on your left hand lane) until you come to a set of traffic lights - there are two sets of traffic lights very close to each other - turn left at the second set which will take you on to Grove Park and Bromley, this is Baring Road. Go past Grove Park station, and carry straight on until you come to you come to a parade of shops on your right hand side - the first shop is Waitrose. Avondale Road is the third turning on the right, after Roslin Way, Southover, then Avondale Road. Our house is half way up on the the right hand side, (cream and brown). The journey from the Dartford crossing is about 20/30 minutes.
On the M25 you need to take junction 4 exit - Dartford crossing/Orpington/Bromley and follow the A21. Follow the A21 through to Bromley you approach Bromley South, and our house is situated in Bromley North. When you reach Bromley you must follow the A21 in the direction of Central London and Lewisham. You will come through Bromley centre and you should keep right following the A21. At a junction of traffic lights when you can only turn left or right you will see to take the right-hand turn this will take you on to the London Road. You should drive for a few minutes until you see a green BROMLEY COURT HOTEL sign on the left hand side if the road, opposite that is a Mercedes garage and this is Avondale Road, turn right by the Mercedes garage and the house is half way down on the left hand side. Number 56. The journey should take approximately 20/30 minutes from the M25.
DIRECTIONS TO AVONDALE HOUSE - BY TRAIN
From Central London, Charing Cross, London Bridge: there is a frequent train service to Grove Park station (about 15 minute journey). Take a bus from outside the station to Burnt Ash Lane, stop just after the shops on the right hand side (about a 5 minute journey) cross the main road - Avondale Road is the second turning on the right hand side, and number 56 is halfway up the road. Trains from Victoria and London Bridge to Bromley South - take taxi from outside the station is the easiest and quickest way - about 5 minute journey.
HOW TO GET TO US FROM AIRPORTS
GATWICK- Gatwick Express to Victoria - train from Victoria to Bromley South - cab from Bromley South station to 56 Avondale road.
HEATHROW- Underground to Piccadilly Circus - change for Victoria - train from Victoria to Bromley South - cab from Bromley South station to 56 Avondale road.
STANSTEAD - Train direct from Stanstead airport to Liverpool Street station in London. Underground from Liverpool Street to Victoria. Train from Victoria to Bromley South - cab from Bromley South station to 56 Avondale road.
Cab journey from Bromley South station to Avondale road is about ten minutes.

At Bromley South take right hand lane following A21 C. London/Lewisham.
Turn right into Avondale road by the Mercedes garage (opposite the Bromley Court Hotel).
